Up to 21 days on a charge, 18 g on the wrist
A 1.47″ colour-screen fitness band with all-day heart rate, blood oxygen, stress and sleep tracking, 50 sports modes and 5ATM water resistance. Irish stock, Irish warranty.
Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active: a simple fitness band that lasts three weeks
The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active is Xiaomi’s entry-level fitness band, made for people who want steps, sleep, heart rate and notifications without charging every few days. Its 300 mAh battery is rated for up to 21 days in light use and up to 8 days with all-day health monitoring switched on, and a full charge takes under two hours on the magnetic cable.
The screen is a 1.47″ colour display at 172 × 320 pixels, refreshing at 60Hz under reinforced 2.5D glass, with more than 100 watch faces to choose from. The body weighs 18 g without the strap and has a metallic-look frame, and the vertical-stripe TPU strap fits wrists from 135 to 215 mm. It tracks heart rate, blood oxygen, stress and sleep around the clock, records 50 sports modes and is rated 5ATM, so you can wear it in the pool.
Know four things before you buy. The screen is a TFT panel, not AMOLED, and there is no always-on display or automatic brightness. There is no built-in GPS and no NFC for contactless payments. And you can see who is calling and reject or mute the call, but you can’t answer it on the band.
Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active price and availability in Ireland
Every Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active we sell is EU-version stock shipped from our Irish warehouse by mStore.ie, not a grey import. The price you see includes Irish VAT, there is no customs bill on delivery, and the warranty is handled here in Ireland. The colours we stock are listed on this page.
Up to 21 days between charges
Xiaomi rates the 300 mAh battery for up to 21 days in light use and up to 8 days in normal use, where heart rate is measured every minute and all-day stress tracking is on. Xiaomi rated the Smart Band 9 Active for up to 18 days. There is no wall plug in the box: the magnetic cable charges from any USB port or 5V USB adapter.
| Capacity | 300 mAh |
|---|---|
| Light usage | Up to 21 days |
| Normal usage | Up to 8 days, advanced health monitoring on |
| Charging | Magnetic charging cable, full in under 120 minutes |
| Power adapter | Not included — any 5V USB port or adapter |
A 1.47″ colour screen at 60Hz
The tall 1.47″ screen shows time, steps, heart rate and notifications at a glance, and the 60Hz refresh rate keeps swiping between widgets smooth. It is a TFT panel rather than AMOLED, so there is no always-on mode; you can set it to stay lit for 5 minutes when you need it. Xiaomi lists no ambient light sensor, so brightness is set by hand.
| Screen | 1.47″ TFT colour display |
|---|---|
| Resolution | 172 × 320, 247 PPI |
| Refresh rate | 60Hz |
| Cover | Reinforced 2.5D glass |
| Watch faces | 100+ |

Heart rate, SpO₂, stress and sleep, all day
The optical sensor on the back measures heart rate and blood oxygen through the day and night, and the band records sleep stages, naps and stress. Steps, sleep, heart rate and SpO₂ keep recording even when your phone is out of range and sync to the Mi Fitness app later. It is a wellness tracker, not a medical device.
- Heart rate: smart monitoring, or every 1, 10 or 30 minutes
- All-day blood oxygen (SpO₂), switched on in the app
- All-day stress monitoring
- Sleep tracking, including naps and REM with advanced monitoring
- Breathing quality score during sleep (beta)
- Menstrual cycle tracking and prediction
5ATM: keep it on in the pool
The band is tested to ISO 22810:2010 at the equivalent of 50 metres of static pressure, so rain, hand-washing and swimming in a pool or shallow water are all fine. Xiaomi says it records calories and workout time while you swim, but it doesn’t list lap counting or stroke detection for this model. Rinse it with fresh water after the sea.
| Rating | 5ATM (ISO 22810:2010) |
|---|---|
| Pool and shallow water | Yes |
| Not suitable for | Hot showers, saunas, hot springs, diving, jumping into water, fast currents |

A metallic-look frame in three colours
Compared with the Smart Band 9 Active, the case has narrower bezels and a frame with a metallic finish. The frame itself is glass-fibre-reinforced plastic, which keeps the body to 18 g. The TPU strap has a vertical-stripe texture and a pin-and-buckle clasp designed not to slip.
- 43.5 × 25.8 × 10.2 mm, 18 g without the strap
- Metallic-look frame with 2.5D glass
- TPU strap, fits 135–215 mm wrists
- Black, Gray and Pomelo Pink

50 sports modes for running, cycling, gym sessions and more, plus the small tools you use every day.

Frequently asked questions
Can I swim with the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active?
Yes, in a pool or shallow water. It is rated 5ATM under ISO 22810:2010, the equivalent of 50 metres of static pressure. Xiaomi says it is not suitable for hot showers, saunas, hot springs, diving, jumping into water or fast-moving water, and that you should rinse it with fresh water after the sea. Water resistance is not permanent and can weaken over time.
Does it track swimming?
Xiaomi says it records calories burned and workout duration while you swim. It doesn’t list lap counting or stroke detection for this model. If you swim laps regularly, the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 has a dedicated swimming mode that counts laps.
Does it work with an iPhone?
Yes. It pairs with iPhones running iOS 14.0 or later and Android phones running Android 8.0 or later, through the free Mi Fitness app. Quick replies to text messages work on Android only.
Can I answer calls on the band?
No. When a call comes in, the band vibrates and shows the caller, and you can reject or mute the call. Xiaomi’s spec sheet lists no speaker or microphone, so you answer on your phone. For calls on your wrist, look at the Redmi Watch 6 Active.
How long does the battery last?
Xiaomi rates it for up to 21 days in light use and up to 8 days in normal use, where heart rate is measured every minute, all-day stress tracking is on and the screen is woken more often. Your own figure depends on which health features you switch on and how many notifications you get.
Does it come with a charger?
It comes with a magnetic charging cable but no wall plug. Plug the cable into a computer’s USB port or any 5V USB phone charger you already have; a full charge takes under two hours. Xiaomi doesn’t recommend charging from a power bank, as some cut out at very low current.
Does it have GPS?
No. Xiaomi’s specification lists a heart rate sensor and an accelerometer, and no GPS. If you want route maps for outdoor runs and rides, take your phone with you.
Can I pay contactlessly with it?
No. The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active has no NFC, so contactless payments are not supported.
Does it have an always-on display?
No. The 1.47″ TFT screen wakes when you raise your wrist or tap it, and you can set it to stay on for 5 minutes at a time. For an always-on display, choose the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 or Smart Band 10 Pro.
What’s new compared with the Smart Band 9 Active?
The battery rating goes from up to 18 days to up to 21 days, the case has narrower bezels and a metallic-look frame, and the strap has a new textured design. The screen size, 5ATM rating and 50 sports modes carry over.
Is it a medical device?
No. The heart rate, blood oxygen, stress and sleep features are for general wellness and are not designed to diagnose, prevent or treat any condition. Talk to a doctor if you have concerns about your health.
