Xiaomi Smart Band
A few grams on the wrist, weeks between charges, and enough sensors to make sense of your sleep. Shipped across Ireland.
The tracker you never take off
Sleep tracking only works if the device is on your wrist at 3am, and most people take a watch off to charge it overnight. A band goes two to three weeks between charges, so it never comes off, and the data is continuous rather than full of gaps. It is also light enough to forget you are wearing, which is the real reason bands stay on wrists years after the owner stopped caring about step counts.
- Continuous heart rate through the day and night
- Sleep stages, including naps on current models
- Blood oxygen and stress readings
- Steps, distance and calories
- Notifications, timers and alarms on the wrist
- Magnetic charging — no popping the tracker out of the strap
Which version to pick
The standard Smart Band is the cheapest way into tracking and covers everything most people use. The Pro versions widen the screen towards watch territory and add positioning to the band itself, so a run is recorded without carrying your phone. If you never run, the extra buys you very little; if you run without a phone, it is the whole point.
- Standard: narrower screen, GPS comes from your phone
- Standard: the longest battery life in the range
- Pro: larger display, easier to read mid-run
- Pro: built-in positioning for phone-free tracking

Common questions
How long does a Xiaomi Smart Band last on a charge?
Roughly two to three weeks in typical use. Turning on continuous heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking with blood oxygen, and a bright always-on screen will pull that down considerably — closer to a week in heavy use. The product page carries the manufacturer figure for each model.
Does the Smart Band have GPS?
The Pro models have positioning built into the band. The standard models do not, and use your phone's GPS instead, so your phone needs to be with you for a route or accurate pace to be recorded.
Can I wear it in the shower or the pool?
Most models are rated 5ATM, which covers showering and pool swimming. It does not cover diving, saunas, hot tubs or high-pressure jets. Check the water resistance line on the product page first.
How accurate is the sleep tracking?
Good for trends, not for diagnosis. A wrist sensor infers sleep stages from heart rate and movement, so total sleep time is usually close while the breakdown between light, deep and REM is an estimate. It is useful for spotting patterns over weeks rather than judging a single night.
Will it work with my iPhone?
Yes, through the free Mi Fitness app. Tracking and notifications work on both platforms; a handful of interactions, such as replying to a message from the band, are Android-only because of Apple's restrictions.
Should I get a band or a watch?
Get the band if you want all-day and overnight data on something you never think about, at the lowest price. Get the watch if you train with GPS or want to act on notifications rather than just see them — compare the smart watches before deciding.
Battery life, positioning, water resistance and sensor availability vary by model and firmware version. Figures here describe the range in general — the specification on each product page takes precedence.
