Yes, and it helps most when it runs every day. The 5 Pro, S40 Pro and S40 have anti-tangle brushes so hair doesn't wrap around the roller, and a self-emptying model such as the 5 Pro or H40 saves you emptying a full bin after each run.
Will it clean carpets and rugs?
Yes. The 5 Pro and S40 Pro detect carpet and lift their mops, by 15 mm and 10 mm, so rugs stay dry, and the S40 Pro boosts its suction on carpet. On other models, take the mop pad off before a vacuum-only run over carpet.
What's the difference between self-emptying and a full base station?
A self-emptying base, like the H40's, sucks the dust out of the robot into a bag, so you only change the bag every few months. A full base station, like the 5 Pro's, also washes the mop pads in hot water and dries them, so mopping is hands-free too.
Can it go over door thresholds?
Yes, most door thresholds are no problem. The 5 Pro, S40 Pro and S40C climb obstacles up to 20 mm high. Robot vacuums can't climb stairs, but they detect drops so they won't fall down them.
Can one robot clean more than one floor?
Yes. The S40 and S40 Pro save maps for more than one floor. Carry the robot upstairs and it cleans using the saved map for that floor.
